Which Mascara Is Right For You?

We all weren't born with amazingly long, lush lashes.  If you were, I'm supremely jealous.  Like most, my lashes need a little boost before I head out for work, or out for fun with the girls, so I set out to find the absolute best mascara at a few different price points.

If you want...

Supermodel lashes no matter what the price!
Christian Dior's Diorshow mascara is your best bet.  The huge applicator brush that comes with this tube will give your lashes a thickness you didn't know possible, while also noticeably extending lash length!  Since this is a very thick formula, it leaves a heavy coat of mascara - great for dates or a girls night out.  It comes in black, brown, and even electric blue or deep purple for you daring gals.  ($24, available at Sephora)

Big bang for less bucks!
Neutrogena's Healthy Volume mascara is your match made in heaven.  The brush does a good job of adding thickness to your lashes without all that messy goop that some leave behind.  At a cool $8 and available at your local drugstores, you can totally afford this on any budget!  Bonus: This is great for your girls with contact lenses since it won't flake off.

Everyday lashes for the bargainista!
Eyes Lips Face (e.l.f.) has a product called Earth and Water Mascara Duo.  Brace yourself bargain hunters - this brilliant idea combines regular mascara and waterproof mascara in one tube with an applicator at each end!  And get this - the mascara sells for only $1!  Trust me, I'm as shocked as you are.  Click here to check out this and other fab products sold at just $1.

Have you tried an amazing mascara lately?  Post a comment and tell me about it!

xoxo,

  1. Great blog! The waterproof Diorshow definitely saved the day at our wedding. Do you have thoughts on foundation? Please share...

  3. I used to be a Diorshow addict...however I would get annoyed at how fast it would dry up and i would be running out to get another $25 tube of mascara. I was referred to CoverGirl LashBlash and I must say, (being a self proclamied Mascara snob)it is by far the best mascara for less than $7 per tube!!!

  4. Hey Allison! When you're in need of a new tube, you gotta try the Neutrogena Healthy Volume - it's got the same brush as Diorshow and doesn't dry out at all! My Mom also swears by LashBlast - I want to run out to Target and try it!
